Re: enrichir librairy

Re: Learning with the Included Examples
In some programs, there is a log file that records all the calls made when someone is using the UI. Is there such a file being generated in QCAD? This would allow me to draw something specific and then check the log file for what the program did on the back end. I remember posting a similar questio...

Re: Script attached: box joints
I have been reading the posts in the background (vacation period!) and I just wanted to say that I agree with you that QCAD ought to stick to its current philosophy: a cad program that is easy to master (I gave up on Drafsight). On the other hand, its architecture opens the way to specific plug-ins ...

Re: Script attached: box joints
Hi Guys
Matthias I tried your box joint script this morning and I'm quite impressed by the design assistance it brings...Clive, I support your comment on script learning, I tried to look into he documentation but gave up. A step by step progression is required when one is an absolute beginner!

more thoughts on line thickness
When I work on a drawing on screen, I find it convenient to set line thickness to the minimum value, default or 0. This is best to appreciate intersections or do constructions. When comes print time however, those lines have a hard time with the printer resolution, more so at reduced scale as I do n...

Re: autosnap
I agree, point is not defined, but it comes in handy when dimensioning from a center line for example...
Clive, try it with 2.2.2.0, you will see the difference.

autosnap [solved]
Win7-64 - QCAD 3.0
There is on thing that bothers me, the autosnap never seems to work for "on entity", I realize it is the last priority, but I find it very quite useful in many cases, i.e. dimensioning. This feature was working very well in ver 2.2.2.0.
Any reason for that?
Thanks.

keep block hidden on save
Working on Win7-64 - QCAD 3.0 On a drawing, I have two optional items, each represented by a block. I hide either according to the choice needed to be shown, but after saving and re-opening the drawing, the two blocks are visible again. Is this done on purpose or could it be similar to the manipulat...
