Help Request

I need help to write a script in qcad3, but I can't wrap my head around this new language. If I had a tiny script that I can use as a skelton, it would be very helpful to me to start coding for qcad3. Right now, I draw my usual stuff in qcad3, but all my scripting stuff goes to a qcad2 inside a Debi...

Moving/Copying Polylines

(I'm not really sure it's a bug, sorry for that. Also, I tried to write it on the Bug Report, and got a permission error on posting) Please see the attachment or this image : black-ship.net/~tukuyomi/stuff/public/misc/move_poly.png Try to move/copy the draw next to it: CTRL+A; CTRL+SHIFT+C; CTRL+V, ...

UCS & XREF

It's been a while since I see those acronyms on the bug tracker.
As I -kind of- understood while reading through posts in these forums, it seems these features are present in Autocad.
Does anyone please exlains what those stand for, and briefly what it is exactly? Thank you in advance!

Re: Latest snapshot release

It's indeed a 64-bit system. The only 32-bit system I have has Windows XP, and qcad 3.0.7 is working fine there :) I'll try something and play with multiarch* for a while to see where it can lead... * wiki.debian.org/Multiarch/HOWTO EDIT: Found! Using multiarch, I installed libglib2.0-0:i386* and no...

Re: Latest snapshot release

I think there is a missing lib on Debian (testing) system: qcad-3.0.7-prof-linux-x86$ ./qcad qcad-3.0.7-prof-linux-x86/qcad-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libgthread-2.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory I can't find any package to provide gthread. Latest snapshot release

Hi Andrew
I have a problem getting the latest Qcad release because the link has expired.
When clicking on my order, I get a message saying "Expiration date has passed; you can't download this product."
Do I need to buy a new license key?
Thank you for reading!

Re: Exploding splines

Thank you clive for your reply and the opened feature request :D I understand your point about adding more segments between existing EndPoints. But please consider this drawing : tukuyomi.kuro-hitsuji.net/stuff/1.dxf.xz Splitting magenta segments is not enough, you have to somehow move the new point...

Exploding splines

Hello all! I use splines to draw things on my computer. But I need to send these drawings as lines entities to a CN machine. So I use the explode command to pass from splines to polylines. But on Qcad 3.0 (final release), splines have very few entities, and as a result, the CN machine is lacking pre...

Re: QCAD 3 Final

Ohh really nice release :D
Didn't see all the new features come in after the RC5, great surprises there :D
Is this a placebo effect or the boot time AND the UI are a lot faster too :) ?

Re: RC4 is Unstable

Please disable the script debugger and restart QCAD: - 'QCAD Professional' - 'Preferences' - 'Scripting' - untick 'Enable Debugger' This seems to fix or at the very least improve the situation a lot. I'm still investigating if this is really the cause though.. Andrew, thank you for replying. Defini...

I experience some instabilities on Windows XP as well.
Crashes happen randomly, so it's not easy to give you details on what was going on just before :/.
But for sure, these did not happen that frequently on RC3, nor on linux RC4.
In any case, is windows crash debug going to be useful for you?
