[solved] Text doesn't accept color from layer
I moved around some texts from layer 0 to another layer, I called "Text". The Text layer color is magenta. The Layer0 color was white. During text creation I individually changed the layer from the layer I was in at the time of text creation to layer "Text". In the result I have a mix of white and a...

Giving thick lines a pattern (rasterize)
Is it possible to let thick lines look like a newspaper print (rasterized)?
E.g. turn a thick line to a polygon surrounding it? Might also be achieved by putting a "tube" around every line.

bringing a whole layer to back or front with one click
Sometimes I find it tedious to bring all objects in a layer to front or back. Is there a way to switch a whole layer back or to front with one click?

Making a selection horizontally equidistant and then aligning them vertically
How can I make a selection equidistant in one dimension such that they are evenly distributed over the distance of the outer most objects? After having done that I would align them evenly in direction perpendicular to the first direction (general case for horizontally vs. vertically)? QCad Pro 3.24....

Copy paste a filled circle
MacOS: I drew a circle and filled it with the layer color. Now I would like to take (select, CMD-C, CMD-V) the filled circle with the cursor and drop it elsewhere in the drawing. The result is only the circumference of that circle as it was before I filled it. How can I achieve that the filled circl...

How to stop zooming run away?
MacOS Catalina 10.15.2 QCad Pro 3.24.0.0 When I move the MacMouse just a bit the window zoom runs away quickly as if mouse events are piled up in a queue adn donÄt seem to end. This results in the drawing running very quickly out of sight in either direction - either zoom in or zoom out depending on...

Re: making splines and lines to polystring - illbehaves
Husky, I was just wondering. You said: "Select all, launch the hatch tool, confirm the dialog, done." I did that but got a different result than you. I was wondering why I got a different result although I was exactly following the steps prescribed by you. And then I asked for "mince" and lineweight...

Re: making splines and lines to polystring - illbehaves
I'm trying to apply the HATCH-tool method to a drawing to find out whether it has any discontinuities. Ok, makes sense ... When trying to apply Polyline from Segments (OG), the contour starts to behave a bit screwy, as if the order of some elements is twisted somehow. What for you need the P...

Re: OG on circle
Activate OG Look below. Untitled17.png Yes, as soon as you have made ARCs of the CIRCLE or have exploded the CIRCLE. But you cannot vonvert a CIRCLE directly to a POLYLINE. Once you know you have to explode it, fine. But I stubled across it when I tried to convert that LOgo I posted and found that ...
