Ctrl+W not closing QCAD tab
Dear all,
I used Ctrl+W shortcut to close QCAD tab. Since last version installation 3.21.2.0 (3.21.2), it's not working anymore. I cannot see in in the window top menu neither.
I'm running QCAD Professional 3.21.2.0 (3.21.2) in Linux Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.

I think the same linnemann. Since I got used to QCAD I don't want to go back to any other 2d cad software!linnemann wrote: We also have Autocad, but I rarely use it, it has become too bloated for a 2D Cad tool IMO.

Re: Impossible to navigate by keyboard in some widgets
Navigating by typing the first letters is not possible due to the letter based shortcuts ("LI", "CI", etc.). I don't think this can work in QCAD. Are you sure that you did this in previous versions? Absolutely sure. But I had to select first one of the layers in the Layers List widget. Is there any...

Impossible to navigate by keyboard in some widgets
Hello, I used up/down keys to navigate into block and layer lists widgets. I also typed characters to select layers with that starting character. Now it is not possible for me. Arrow keys are always panning, even if I click on a layer or block name. I think it has become like this since my last 3.20...

Customize default colors
Hello all,
I was asking me if it is possible to customize the default colours palette, the one I show in the attached image. I was looking for some file in qcad folder (color library or something like this) but I didn't find anything.
Do you know how to modify the colours list of that menu?

introduce script variable content in command line
Hello all, I would like to write a script that works like this: 1.- Ask me in command line to introduce a string. 2.- Use this string to find certain layer names. 3.- Set specific properties to this layers, like freezing, locking, etc. I know how to do steps 2. and 3., but I never succeed on step 1....

Re: Script Shell. How to repeat last command? Variable scope
1.- Is there some way to get last line entered? Yes, arrow up should do this but is currently broken due to implementation of arrow up shortcuts to pan zoom. Arrow up is working perfectly in Command Line but not in Script Shell . This text is coming in my case when I press arrow up, which is and ol...

Script Shell. How to repeat last command? Variable scope
Script Shell seems to be a very powerful tool. But I have some doubts about it: 1.- Is there some way to get last line entered? It usually happens to me that I want to rewrite last command with some little change, but then I have to rewrite the whole line again. In some terminals you can do that wit...

Is it possible to create a hatch "linked" to a polyline?
Hello all, I can see a hatch property which is "From Entity" (Yes/No) in Property Editor widget, as it's shown in attached image file. Screenshot from 2018-02-14 12-03-15.png I know how to create a hatch from selection (polyline), but I don't know how to "link" this hatch to polyline so when it chan...

Renaming all layers in a drawing
Hello all, I'm trying to write a script in order to rename all layers of a file, adding "z ... " at the beginning of their current name, so they'll be all inside a new superlayer called "z". My script looks like this: var di = this.getDocumentInterface(); var document = this.getDocument(); var layer...

Re: [solved] My keyboard types with a different layout in QCAD
Hello,
I had the same issue again, but fortunately it was only temporally this time.
I guess it had something to do with Ubuntu Keyboard Layout selection, but not completely sure... I'm sorry I cannot help more than this.
Best regards,
David
