Re: Inside Hatches, more than meets the eye

Hi CVH I see you're still busy on this... I don't know much about the maths involved But I'm wandering why the AC tools work in a grid snap when creating the tile, could it be the answer? The only drawback on this is you are limited by snap points...the lisp file you sent me works the same way. What...

Re: qcad mm in solidworks = inch

I use AutoDesk Inventor 2020 I use Qcad to make DXFs and they open up fine as mm regardless of the version I use? I think Husky hit the nail on the head..I think SOLIDWORKS import settings are probably set to inch.. Cheers John PS also tested in 2 open source applications Solvespace and FreeCad Both...

Re: Feature Request for Hatch Command or PolyTrim Tool

Hi Andrew This is a very complex pattern and a nice example to show how a dxf tile would be a good option in the Hatch command :D The DXF Tile Simulation Exploded is 259KB ( I can move box around without any Lag ) The Hatch Pattern Exploded is 520KB ( Just over twice the size but can move box around...

Usage select polyline then select side to trim ( inside or outside ) see live video attached... Maybe a script and call...

Feature Request for Hatch Command or PolyTrim Tool

Hi Andrew 1st of all I’d like to say I’m not requesting to remove current hatches, they will always serve a purpose and I will continue to add to this collection, now using CVH’s Tool. I currently use Qcad 90% of the time now but find myself going back to AutoCad only to use the Super Hatch Tool (wh...
