Re: Free Hatch Patterns

Hi All I have just reinstated 9 patterns that I had removed from previous posts, these Patterns have now been tested 100,000 units from Pattern origin..All these patterns have been created using a Lisp Program, QCAD-LOGO was edited and fixed by CVH due to a large shift on 1 entity at Origins 10,000 ...

Re: Free Hatch Patterns

Hi All If you want to try this out you can, I'm comparing an installed original pattern with 2 of mine, if I can manage to keep mine stable at 100,000 from datum I'm going to re-post them, There is always the option to edit the pattern origin back to the object origin if it loses definition.. see s...

Re: Is the Nesting Feature Only Available with Qcad/CAM

Hi Andrew Thanks for getting back to me. Would you consider selling an add-on for QCAD Professional to do nesting.? Many of my customers supply material to laser cutters to save money and often ask me how much material they would need. Just now I either manually do or use a couple of lisp files that...

Re: Free Hatch Patterns

Hi All As you are all aware CVH discovered that some hatch patterns when hatched far away from the drawings X Y Origin start to lose accuracy , this is due to the limitation of the number of decimal points used to calculate entity positions at that distance. Although it's not the norm to hatch at s...

Re: Hatch Patterns For Beginners

Hi All If you want to make Metric versions of these patterns simply multiply all the numeric values after the angle by 25.4 DO NOT MULTIPLY THE ANGLE BY 25.4... and 0 x 25.4 = 0 ;-) If you are competent with excel you can import your PAT file as a CSV (comma separated values) file and multiply all c...

Re: Is there a way to make Ordinate Dimensions 1 Line

Hi Husky Yeah Alt key is also handy to draw orthogonal lines, I sometimes hold Alt key down draw line say to the right let Alt key go hit space bar and type in length..
