Hello,

Here's a possible solution:

Select all entities you wish to enlarge,
"copy with reference"
"paste" where you want
select copied section and use "modify, scale"
that should produce the result you want.

Thanks Andrew,
I gess this has to do with the way it is constructed, as opposed to the circle.

Hi Bill, I too, have found the hatching function a bit tricky at times. It works on closed entities. Four intersecting lines leave unclosed sections. Either you trim the corners, and you are back to your box, or use "divide" to define the segments for the contour. You are right, hatching does not wo...

Bonsoir,
Bonne chance

I found in the qcadscripting Class Reference how to specify line width but I was not able to locate any info about defining the type of line, eg.: dash, dash dot...Is that possible? Are you con...

Thanks, it works, but I must locate the point chosen as reference to 0,0 before saving the drawing in the library.
Also, the item shows twice in the preview of the library...no big deal, but confusing.

Creation of blocks

I am running Qcad 2.2.2.0 under Windows XP Pro, SP3. I have been quite confused with block creation, not as simple as explained in the book! Here's what I did as an example. 1- define "part" on several layers. 2- create block from "part" with reference point set in middle. Middle being at abs coordi...
