I simply deleted the entire spline (white) and manually drew two new halves of that spline
I doubt the matching accuracy.

Re: How do I split/break/trim a spline?

You are not seeing the splines I presume.
Was reading up on it and CE doesn't display controlpoint splines it seems.

Send me the example file of the firts picture.

Re: Contour a hatch

Remark that a boundary is not always one single thing. The boundary of a Hatch can have more than one boundary loop. I read in https://www.qcad.org/doc/qcad/latest/developer/class_r_explodable.html Implemented in RPolylineData, RPolyline, RSpline, RLeaderData, and RTriangle. Not for hatches I think....

Re: Problems A: Roundings B: Snapping

I know, as long as the circle crosses or just touch it's OK. That is why they are green. This is already so long a problem. It gets worse with polys. To be correct, all are Arc's. A circle needs two cuts, that is already solved by the prefix with gaps. Intuitive one would think this is not a problem...

Re: Using library items

I would leave it like that.
Editing one master is less work.
(Edit: If you know there is one)

Re: Using library items

Hi,
Block33 is a flipped copy of Block34.

Edit Block33 and see that it is Block34 flipped over.
Select & Explode this 34 Block inside the 33 Block and they are no longer linked.

The next question would be: why eg. M4x10_DIN84_f.dxf has no unit?
M4 & DIN84 >> mm ... Isn't it?
It works for Bath plan.dxf
That are very big screws compared with the bath.

Re: Dimension mm - inch

Still, my question is out. We use scaled imperial sized things in a mm drawing if that part only comes in imperial measurements. Like a Swagelock valve or pipe-fittings in inches. Same as an imperial user should be able to use a metric part. Like a M4 screw on a bathtub or a Bosh part About the invi...

Re: Dimension mm - inch

Hi Rantanplan7, I think we need an example file with a good and a bad, one before conversion, on after. A) I am aware a document has a unit. B) Can't include library's in a file, only a copy as a block unrelated to the library item. C) Common library items are simple dxf drawing, again a docu...

Re: Moving dimensions with objects

Hi,
The dimension and the measured part are two distinct entities.
Select the dimension.
Each reference point can de reset, dragged or whatever.

Maybe 'Stretch' can help you when altering parts of a drawing.

Re: Contour a hatch

Create a duplicate, set solid filled, Explode.
That would give you only the boundary of a hatch.
