Blocks not grouped

using QCAD pro 3.22.0 on one computer import treats imported files as blocks. they show up in the block list and are grouped. On another computer when I use the file - import command, files import exploded, and they do not show up on the block list.

circles turning into polylines

I am not quite sure when this takes place, but I have a bunch of circles that are turning into polylines. any hint on where this may be taking place or how I can prevent this? In the file, all the circular polylines started out as circles. After various editing, importing blocks etc, they turned int...

Re: cxf fonts

Only Standard comes up in my font listing and then all of the true type fonts. If I try to open one of the cxf fonts (3.22.0) first of all the file filter does not have a choice for cxf fonts, If I choose all files and try to open, I get a "Cannot open file 'C:/Program Files/QCAD/fonts/GreekC.cxf'. ...

Snap on 45 degree points

Is there a way to snap on the 45 degree points around a circle? If I create a line that I want to go from the 225 degree point to the 45 degree point on a circle for instance. Or I have an Instrument with a 3.5" bolt circle diameter and I want to place screw holes on the 45 degree points on that cir...

Re: Tool selection

all good thoughts. the right click last used commands is ok, but an extra click is gonna kill me. EasyCAD has a feature that I like, right click activates the last used command.
2 letter shortcuts have never appealed to me

Tool selection

Most of the time, I will use one particular version of a tool. I.E. Circle - center -diameter. I have to select the circle tool on the cad tool bar, then center/diameter. OR select it from the tool matrix which takes up way to much screen space. what if on the main CAD tool bar, it remembered the la...

Status bar visibility

When using many lap tops that have limited vertical screen space, it would be nice to have the ability to totally hide the status bar or at least reduce its size to one line. Maybe the ability to show one of the coordinate displays instead of 4 simultaneously.
