Hidden/locked sub-layers suggestion

Would it be possible to have an indicator on the parent layer to signal that one or more of the child layers is hidden and/or locked? Somewhat similar to the indicator on the child layer to signify that the parent layer is hidden and/or locked. This would be helpful when child layers are rolled up. ...

[solved] Hatch issue - 2 (related?) questions

Please see screen recording. I create a rectangle and fill with a hatch - simples. I then select the rectangle and try and edit the hatch - getting the error/warning. Is this normal? I have to select the boundaries independently - a pain when multiple boundaries. http://www.panchdara.com/Images/QCAD...

Re: Defpoints layer

Hi again... I just updated the screen dump and have circled the fact that I am logged in. Strange, very strange indeed.

Thanks again for looking - I'll try from another PC and see if there's something specific here :?:

Can't find how to show multiple dimesnion units

Hi. I know this has been asked before and for the life of me I can't seem to find it: I'd like to show 2 measurement units at same time. For instance a drawing in inches to show it's dimension in both inches and another user defined unit, such as mm. Like 3.75 (95.25) - and allow user to have option...

Lineweight of child layer

Is it possible to have an option in a child layer properties, lineweight, that is "By Parent [Layer]"?

Cheers
Hugh

Edit: and I suppose with colour too? (I know - asking too much! )

Signatures and avatars

I have a small observation with the way signatures (and avatars -to a point) are displayed. Yes, they are useful, BUT, perhaps a snapshot copy of the signature at the time of posting should be saved... ie at the time of posting then that signature remains with that post. As an example, if I make a p...

Re: How to change the Lineweight for the "0" Layer?

I see this, but what exactly is the "default" line weight? I mean in real terms? Sorry to sound dumb, but where is "default" set and what is it's weight?

Keeping up with all the updates

Just when I think I've got the latest and greatest... wham... more updates on horizon... I'm certainly not complaining, just saying Wow... Thanks Andrew and all for keeping this the best CAD for value - I'm just dazzled by the number of improvements and bug fixes in such short periods. I'd rather th...
