Re: Problem: QCAD randomly crashes
Are you editing very large / complex drawings? Can you attach / send the drawing you are working on? Does QCAD crash (close) or does Windows indicate that the application is not responding? What is the error / dialog of Windows in case of a crash? Thanks. Attached is one of the files I was working ...

Re: QCAD randomly crashes
QCAD just crashed on me after about 2 hrs using it. I did a ctl-A to select all objects, the busy cursor displayed for a bit, then the app shut down. Is this a bug? Or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks,
npd

Problem: QCAD randomly crashes
My QCAD installation randomly crashes and shuts down. I am editing different drawings and it doesn't seem to be related to one specific drawing. After crashing, if I wait a minute, I can re-launch the app fine. It's very annoying though. Sometimes I lose my changes. I have changed auto save to 2 min...

Re: [solved] Problem: copying a line object makes new one much larger
Thanks for the tip. It never occurred to me to use MV for copying also. It's probably quicker than using RC and PS.

Re: Problem: copying a line object makes new one much larger
Thank you Husky, CVH! You saved me. Somehow I had 48,48 in the scale window. I like using the command line, especially for typing in relative coordinates. My cursor must have jumped to this window and I did not notice it. Husky... You asked if I was using the clipboard function. I always copy using ...

Re: Problem: copying a line object makes new one much larger
Some more info on this issue. I started a new blank drawing and the same problem is there also.

[solved] Problem: copying a line object makes new one much larger
Please help!! This problem just started today. When I copy a line, the new copied line becomes really big. It does not keep the original size. Also, with reference copy, using relative positions (like @0,24) does not seem to work. I've attached the problem file. I'm relatively new to QCAD. I'm wonde...

QCAD file compatibility
How compatible are QCAD file formats AutoCAD and other CAD apps? I saved a file in QCAD 3.24 in R27 DWG format. I sent the file to a vendor and they said they could not open it in AutoCAD? What should I be aware of when creating files in QCAD for use in AutoCAD?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Redraw command
I'm new to QCAD. But I've used AutoCAD years ago, version 11,12. Is the a 'redraw' command in QCAD? Or is it not necessary anymore?
Thanks.
Thanks.
