Re: [SOLVED] Script to approximate involute to a circle - problem with Events
Hi CVH, Can you explain me what t1, t2 and T11-22 are for ... :?: I thought to define approximation of involute by start point, end point and tangents. So, the first and the last control point should exactly match the involute. All the points in between are interesection points of subsequent tangent...

Re: Script to approximate involute to a circle - problem with Events
Hi CVH, Thank you for your reply. I am afraid it could be a step too far considering my current knowlege related to UI files :D. May I remark that a number of points is usually something that is set in the Option Toolbar. For that you need a simplistic UI file and implement a slot change function. T...

[SOLVED] Script to approximate involute to a circle - problem with Events
Dear QCAD users, I prepared a script to approximate involute to a circle with splines. My script has four states: 1. SettingN -> in this state it is supposed to take input from command window using commandEvent and its getCommand() function. 2. SettingCenter -> in this state it is supposed to take i...

Re: moving objects with keeping one coordinate as is
Hi Christoph, Maybe the relative coordinates would do the job? If you chose a reference point then you can type coordinates relative to your reference point. Reference coordinates are preceded with @. So if you chose 10,0 as your reference point and type @5,6 afterwards your object will move to poin...

Re: Jakub - Pole currently in the Netherlands
Hi Andrew,
Thanks for adding the features. I have tested it a bit. It seems to work just fine.
Out of curiosity I have also opened my previous drawings with geometrical tolerances made in DraftSight.
The tolerance frames and datum indicators are flawlessly recognized by 3.24.3.10 snapshot.

Re: QCAD crashes while importing a block from a dxf file
Thanks Andrew. It works. I have tried something similar before.
I only did not perform the last step, that is synchronising the attributes.

[solved] QCAD crashes while importing a block from a dxf file
Hi All, I am not sure if it is a bug or I am doing something wrong. I am working with 3.24.3.0 version of qcad in Windows 10. I have prepared a single block in dxf file for future reuse. The block contains layer 0 plus two additional layers. It also has an attribute residing in one of additional lay...
