I found this on the QCAD - 2D CAD page of qcad.org:

"QCAD is a free, open source application for computer aided drafting (CAD) in two dimensions (2D)."

This makes it sound as though there is a 'free' version of QCAD. Is this the case, or am I interpreting it wrong?

Wow, I really don't know how I missed that, but I did. Also apologies for not posting this in the pre-sales question topic. I believe very soon I won't have any 'pre-sales' questions.
