This pattern has been drawn on a 6x6 grid, to enable us to place gaps between...

Re: Basic Pattern Maker [ Windows & Linux ]
Hey All Here's one I did today... this is how I sometimes go about making patterns, you find the repeat that would make it seamless then draw it in Qcad on the grid that best fits.. As you can see I used the blue markers on this pattern to help me line it up vertically.. The perspective tool ...

Re: Free Stand Alone Basic Hatch Pattern Tool *Full Version*
Hi All I just thought it would be good to showcase BHT used along side Qcad. The time taken to create this Honeycomb panel was under 5 minutes, you can use other patterns in this tool to create dxf files for laser-cut grilles etc.. Also I'm loving Qcad and I've never gone back to Autocad...and in my ...

Re: DXF file entity order
@CVH You always overcomplicate things CVH to a point that users are absolutely sick of it and also STOP SHARING MY PM's with third parties, they are private messages, get it "PRIVATE" and I'm sure it goes against forum rules to do this... And please delete the message you have SENT recently or I wil...

Re: DXF file entity order
Hi WildWolfCJ You can re-order entities like this.. hope it helps.. The order will be as saved in the dxf.. The draw order is as you draw the entities, even though I see you can edit to the same, I'm not sure why you would do this for instance some laser marking programs read these orders to laser m...

Re: How to get coordinates according to step value
Hi WildWolfCJ If you want to create your own dot patterns have a look at these Apps.. they are free and do not rely on scripting , meaning they run independently / stand alone and the patterns can be copied to both the community and pro versions of Qcads hatch pattern folders.. Hi All This topic has been tidied up as requested "thank you" :) Here are the images relating to the downloads above, I've added these as a reference so they can be viewed online prior to any downloads, you can then easily see which patterns you may be interested in without downloading them blindly....
