Yeah I already went through that several times, but simply can't find anything that relates to LINEAR FACTOR.
Sorry!

Last question, where do you change this so it is a "default"? I can change it but I have to do every time I use a DIM.

Re: Dimensions Showing Large Number???
Hey thanks for the help! While I was able to change the formatting to match Architectural, it's still showing 20700"... you mentioned to change the Line Scale from 600 to 1. My file is showing 1 so I'm not sure where you're speaking of.
Any help is appreciated.

Dimensions Showing Large Number???
Hey folks, Scale 1" = 50' I've been dimensioning a site plan for a few days now and all of my dimensions were working perfect. Then all of a sudden, the dimension scale went crazy. For instance, see the screen shot attached. That line is supposed to be 34' - 6"... but the dimensioning is showing 207...

Re: QCAD Super Slow on Super Fast iMac
Yes, I opened this file so I think I understand what you're talking about. The file I was having an issue with is a survey that I opened complete with topographic information. The file size is: 61.5 MB so I can't upload it here. But you can download it from my dropbox file: https://www.dropbox.com/s...

Re: Does QCAD support surveyor's coordinates for creating angles?
Hey Andrew, THANK YOU. That seems to work pretty good. I will now make a purchase of QCAD Professional. I used to use AutoSketch back in the day, but something happened to it, I heard AutoDesk bought the company and then killed it.

Re: How to enter in survey coordinates
Hey, thank you for the info. Yes, sometimes we simply ask the surveyor for a direct cad file of which we then simply overlay a customer's home on top of their existing survey. That is a more accurate way to creating a "Site Plan". Andrew answered my question of which seems to be working pretty well:...

QCAD Super Slow on Super Fast iMac
Hey,
I'm testing QCAD and when using on my newer, very fast iMac, the entire user interface is super slow and laggy. Is there a setting I should be aware of?

Can I view line weights on screen?
I used to use AutoSketch years ago before Autodesk purchased the software and killed it. One of the things I loved about that software is you could visually see the line weights on your screen as you were drawing.

How to enter in survey coordinates
Hey folks, Does anyone know how and where to enter in survey coordinates for creating civil type site plans for building lots? We typically work with surveys build in AutoCAD that we get from surveyors, but if we want to design a "Site Plan" using QCAD, we need to enter in angles using surveyor's co...
