Cheers.
I'll look at that.
Thanks.

Paperspace Tabs
I would like to suggest to my client that he buys QCAD Pro. (We are in South Africa and CAD licenses are off the charts expensive for our weak currency). However, we use a lot of Paperspace views in our CAD drawings. I know that you can view Paperspace in the Block editor, but my client is a bit con...

Re: SVG import function - maintaining line data.
If anybody else is looking for the same feature, it does already exist. If one imports an SVG file which defines the line colour by using the xml description stroke="#ff00ff", for example, this is ignored as I have found previously. However, if one uses the xml description style="stroke:#ff00ff", th...

SVG import function - maintaining line data.
If I export a 2D render of a FreeCAD model, I can specify that hidden lines can be presented in a specific colour so that they may be passed to a HIDDEN layer which I can specify the line type as dotted (HIDDEN) and the line colour as grey. The Import SVG function in QCAD is a great facility, but it...

Hundreds of text styles
I'm finding that QCAD is creating hundreds of text styles which make my drawings look odd if they are opened in other applications. Is this a bug or a feature? Is there any way I can make sure the text syles are limited to, say, Romans and Arial? Linux KDE Neon. Version: 3.27.1.0 (3.27.1) Internet: ...

Thanks.
Using the Filter I was able to find the image and assign it the new path.

[solved] Image file paths
I've imported a PNG image file to trace. However, the file path has changed and the imported file is no longer accessible. Where can I reset the file path so that the image file is visible? Better yet, can the image file be embedded into the drawing? QCAD version: 3.26.4.0 Date: Jun 4 2021 Qt versio...

Re: Dwg Import Library
Version number AC2027.
Thanks, Andrew: that makes sense.
Libredwg handled other drawings of the same version (sent from the same source). I was just a little surprised when QCAD opened it without issue.

Dwg Import Library
Does QCAD use the libredwg dwg import library?
The reason I ask is that I am getting fatal errors when I use the libredwg dwg2dxf, yet QCAD opens the drawing without issue.

Importing SVG: Can I specify Layers for different <g></g> groupings?
Hi, I'm creating SVG files from a parametric model using Freecad. I've specified that Hidden lines are not as thick as visible lines, so visible lines are grouped together within the same <g></g> SVG grouping. Similarly, hidden lines are grouped in a different grouping. This makes it easy to assign ...
