Maybe you have to explain it once more? I can select several regions after one another and hold the shift key. The behavior is ok; everything is selected correctly.

personally, Idon't think it is really needed, because you can always measure the exact rotation you need and then execute it. But it would definetely speed up the drawing process.

I agree with Tom. A tool that creates polylines with a given distance to each other would be very nice. In fact in the pro edition you are allready close, with the polyline and the equidistant. It's just that last step to create immediately a closed polyline.

Hello there,
My initial question is really a serious question. The dutch translation has a 'low menu' instead of a 'layer menu' and a few more stupidly misspelled translations. If nobody can answer questions like this, why is there a special forum section?

I found a new solution for Ubuntu Hardy Heron users to fix the printer problem:

first get 'root' by typing gksudo and enter your password

then type:

ln -s /var/run/cups/printcap /etc/printcap

this works fine and the printers appear in the list as they should.

Hallo Andrew,

that is very fast thank you!

It is clear that I have to purchase a license; I will do asap.

So far I like it a lot. I read somewhere on the forum that you are planning a new version, is there already something scheduled?

importing an external reference as a block is a good way to do it. Of course you will miss some functionality like acad has for xrefs. I use this sometimes and find it a good way to work with qcad.
