[solved] Changelog
Question: Why are "next release" fixes/changes showing up under current release? I see April fixes 2406, 2560 and 2562 were closed in April, but 3.29.6 was released 2024/03/27. Just askin'.

Re: I want to make some random lines or
I tried this. To draw a BoundingBox -> Misc/Draw/Draw Bounding Box. The Misc menu is not described in the Reference, however the Misc menu is mentioned https://www.qcad.org/rsforum/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=9015&p=36014&hilit=misc+menu#p36005 However, nothing seems to happen when trying this option. I gu...

Can QCAD get any better?
Another year has disappeared - and not a great year at that, but same can be said for 2020. Every time I see a new update/snapshot to QCAD I always wonder "Can QCAD get any better?" - then it does. I think I've been onboard for about 5 years (give or take). To date I have seen the application grow a...

Re: Multiple drawings in one file to multiple files
@yogeshch - I was thinking exactly what you just stated - you were presumed "guilty" of something without evidence. And, why can't a sub-$50 application be considered for such a task?

Re: [solved] Hatching not showing !!!
Nick. I also find it somewhat easier to "create polyline" when drawing rectangles. That way all you have to do is select 1 point and the whole is selected - makes hatching far easier.

Re: Option to set RELATIVE coordinates as the default
Hi mwschultz. How about a Preferences option such that non-"@" prefixed co-ordinates are treated as relative with the option "!" prefix as absolute? ie if this Preference option is set then any co-ordinate is treated as being relative, and any "!" prefixed co-ordinate being treated as absolute.?? It...

Re: Changing Layer Attributes
Hi RLARMER. Husky is right. 👍 Also There is another really neat way to move entities from one layer to another. 1) Select the entities (lines, circles etc) that you wish to move. 2) Then double click on the layer (in Layers Panel) to which you want them moved to. (and the move-to layer can even be h...

Re: Line length confusion
Okay. I think there is an "undocumented characteristic" here. Husky mentioned duplicate entries - Not sure where they mysteriously popped up. CVH. Under Application Preferences, the Property Editor, the "Always show all properties..." seems to have solved this issue (an application restart is requir...

Re: Line length confusion
Many thanks.
Please see attached video.
Perhaps my workflow is awkward, but the only typing were the numbers for offset and for the initial 250x8 rectangle (polyline). I am not convinced here.
