Re: Nice and powerful, but veeeeery slow on big files
I'm quite surprised by the performance issues expressed here. I have a 4MB DXF file that opens in about 10 seconds and doesn't slow down QCAD at all. The file contains 10400 entities on 9 layers.

Re: Status bar visibility
I too agree with this. The mouse icon is useless to me; if it could be disabled the rest could fit quite nicely on a single line. There's too much screen estate lost on the status bar.

Re: [solved] Update View on List View
This doesn't seem to be working for me. I select a view, change zoom/pan, click "pick view" but when I select the same view again it's back at its previous settings.

Re: What does "View->Display Distance/Angle" do?
Try this: Activate the Display Distance/Angle, Launch the "Line from two points", determine the first point and monitor what happens at your mouse-pointer for the second point ... Thanks for your help. I finally figured it out after much trying. It's a toggle, between several types of info displaye...

What does "View->Display Distance/Angle" do?
The title says it all. I'm wondering what this feature is supposed to do. Nothing happens when I select it, and the Reference Manual is no help at all.

Re: How to set the size of the options toolbar
Any changes about this? It really does not look great alongside another toolbar. And the options toolbar takes too much empty space on its own.

Re: Optional drawing tabs
I'm bumping this request because I too find the tabbed interface quite wasteful to me since I only ever work on 1 drawing at a time. And for the very rare case I do have more than 1 drawing open, the "Window" menu is there to switch drawings. I think the best solution would be for QCAD to do it like...

Thanks, Husky. This did the trick.Husky wrote:Regarding the vanished Reset Icon: I experience the same problem (Windows). You have to tick (again?) the Tool bar visibility.

Re: Visibility of tools feedback
This doesn't seem to be working correctly for me (QCAD Pro Linux 3.7.2). I tried adding some tools to the CAD toolbar but they don't show up, even after a reboot. Also, the Reset icon has vanished. The toolbar is there, but empty.
