Re: Trim question

@ Panchdara In RobB case I think he is looking to remove the line. Means "check the box" for removing the segment. In other cases it could be useful to keep the segment. e.g. if you need that segment but you have to change the attributes with a different layer. One example could be a cylinder behind...

Re: Blocknamen werden geändert

@ CHV It seems that DXF version R9 that is used stores the blocknames a uppercase. That would make sense - thanks for the hint. I missed that. Can't remember anybody is still working with the file format R9 ... Die ttest.dxf is...

Re: Blocknamen werden geändert

Ok.

Re: Mouse and function button Control

Hi luxsparks - welcome to the QCAD forum. Hi All ... I would really like to use a mouse where I can add my own shortcuts eg middle button is (zp) or similar. Re: QCad changed a dimension figure unasked

Thank you for the example drawing. Now we are talking .... e_surprised Your source file has a precision setting of 0. That rounds the dims: Husky-2019.08.20-01.png Your target drawing has not a precision setting of 0 - that doesn't rounds the dims (or not enough). Husky-2019.08.20-02.png Solution: C...

Re: copy and paste

Hi everybody, since updating to version 3.23.0 (windows 32bit) copy and paste seems to work no more. As usual, I select an element, choose copy from the context menu (or press ctrl c), switch to an other tab with different drawing. Now, when I choose paste from the context menu (or press ctrl v) on...

Re: QCad changed a dimension figure unasked

I had a drawing (imported DXF) and added some dimensions. The I selected the whole artwork, copied it and pasted into a newly opened drawing. Suddenly a measure had changed from 18 (mm) to 17.6918. Question: If you use the "Paste" tool what is the chosen scale in the option bar? I remarked on that ...
