Re: "Create Library Item" [BT] starting save directory

Is there some way to change which directory the "Save As" dialogue starts in? Unfortunately the current QCAD version does not support this option what means the "Save As" folder is controlled by Windows. Maybe it helps a bit to set a "Quick access" for the most needed folders in Windows. Just navig...

Re: pdf to dwg

QCAD has no pdf import function. You can make a bitmap (png, jpg etc) from the pdf and then import it to QCAD but that would not be a vectorized version of the pdf.

The scale drop down field will accept your customized scale - just type in 1" = 2000".

If you need to have only one Viewport printed create a layout with only one viewport. If you need to have a different variants of one existing Layout I ...

Re: Drawings with splines don't save and open well

@sguttag I don't have a solution (maybe a workaround) but I can reproduce the issue. @Andrew The splines which are causing the issue are built with Degree 3 splines. It is difficult to select them with the mouse ... However - if you change the degree to 2 the drawing can be properly saved and will l...

Re: Organizing a drawing ?

I'm not sure I understand. Are you suggesting using a parent layer for each 'drawing'? What is the benefit of that? Does that mean that when plotting I have to turn layers on and off for each plot where I want to show different sets of information from the same overall drawing? That sounds tedious....
