fwiw - the upstreams version (3.24.3 - trial version) seems to work in F32 (altghough they do not respect the keyboard layout of the underlying system, just like the older commercial releases i have at hand) as per Andrews comment above

ok i rebuilt the RPM file with 3.24.3.0 and it seems to work fine i really have no idea what the reason for the improvement i can see stems from - but for me it is an improvement, the fedora maintainer of the package cannot reproduce. if there is something in that snapshot that is prone for this kin...

the version mentioned is the one provided with fedora. i could possibly try to rebuild with latest community edition version but that might take some time due to low computer skills... i can reproduce this by drawing from scratch and not related to the textpart i mentioned before - i can reproduce i...

i see this as well on fedora linux (community edition qcad-3.24.2.6-2.fc31.x86_64) happens at times when changing the numbers (e.g. two backspaces from size 150 =>1 gives me this stop (if i want to change to 125 or so)

as per analysis in the fedora bugzilla - i can pinpoint that this LIKELY popped up between 3.21 and 3.22 in fedora
