The version is Qcad-3 purchased on 05 Sep 2010. I am unable to find out exact version. So I have given you the date of purchase. I could t is 3.0RC2. This number I could locate in the splashscreen.png file.

The command LD-LIBRARY..... is not working.

How to run Qcad -3 in Ubuntu 14.04

I recently upgraded Ubuntu to version 14.04. But I am unable to launch Qcad. But I was able to use it in earlier 12.04 version. Kindly advice me to resolve this issue

DWG file is not opening

I tried to open DWG file directly from QCAD. It tries open but hangs afterwards. I tried to convert the dwg to dxf. Still the same problem exist. I am using Ubuntu 11.1 and QCAD 3 is run using qcad script file. (Not installed). I used any dwg dxf converter which in turn run by wine. Otherwise, the i...

it has to be installed from the terminal by typing

change the directory where qcad has been downloaded. Then type

The issue is resolved. I have not installed the application. After installing, it works fine. How to create a launcher in the desktop, instead of going to terminal window and opening it? This is not very iportant. Thanks a lot for the help. :D

amazingly fast response! Let me try. I am new to Ubuntu 11.1. I have not seen the terminal window. I will try to find and come back to you. In the mean while I have saved the QCad in the desktop. Kindly suggest me better place to store it.

QCAD 2 installation in Ubuntu 11.1 Problem

I have QCAD 2.2.2.0-1-prof-linux.x86. This was working fine in my Ubuntu 10.04. Now I have installed ubuntu 11.1 where it is not running. It 10.04, there is no installation issues, I just clicked qcad and the application is launched. Now it is not so. Can anyone help?

First I was struggling with Hatch command. Before activating the Hatch command, chose the area you want to hatch by dragging the mouse and creating a window. Then chose the Hatch command. The closed area chosen by the window will be filled with Hatch pattern
