The version is Qcad-3 purchased on 05 Sep 2010. I am unable to find out exact version. So I have given you the date of purchase. I could t is 3.0RC2. This number I could locate in the splashscreen.png file.
The command LD-LIBRARY..... is not working.

How to run Qcad -3 in Ubuntu 14.04
I recently upgraded Ubuntu to version 14.04. But I am unable to launch Qcad. But I was able to use it in earlier 12.04 version. Kindly advice me to resolve this issue

DWG file is not opening
I tried to open DWG file directly from QCAD. It tries open but hangs afterwards. I tried to convert the dwg to dxf. Still the same problem exist. QCAD 2 installation in Ubuntu 11.1 Problem
I have QCAD 2.2.2.0-1-prof-linux.x86. This was working fine in my Ubuntu 10.04. Now I have installed ubuntu 11.1 where it is not running. It 10.04, there is no installation issues, I just clicked qcad and the application is launched. Now it is not so. Can anyone help?

Thanks. It works. But I added sudo before apt-get.wookey wrote:apt-get install qcad-data
should fix that. Qcad without the qcad-data package doesn't actually seem to be much practical use (as no fonts is fatal to almost any real usage)
