Re: Multiple A size drawings... best practice
Ryan I found your post from two years ago in the suggestion section so I added my post to your thread. Your idea of a widget for the layer states would be even better. thanks Husky Thanks for the workaround idea. I'll tinker with that. Although right now none of my Layer State activation shortcuts w...

Re: [solved]Layer state widget

I think a wdget for layer states would be a great idea. Or at least have the option of displaying the current layer state somewhere on the screen.

Re: Multiple A size drawings... best practice
The Layer State suggestion by Thomas really turned out to be a great one. That' a nice tool that QCad has. I was thinking about posting a suggestion to allow the current layer state be displayed somewhere on the screen. I think that would be helpful. Or is that already possible and I am somehow not ...

Re: Multiple A size drawings... best practice
I practiced using the Layer States and that seems like a very good workaround. Thanks for that tip. I have been activating my Layer states by using the menu and it works. But if I enter Y1 or Y2 on the command line I get an error as if it thinks I am trying to enter a coordinate. I know I'm doing so...

Multiple A size drawings... best practice
QCad Pro Windows 10 home I am trying to figure out the best way to display different layers of my drawing onto multiple [A size] layout blocks. The way I'm doing it now requires me to keep toggling layers on and off and only print on Layout at a time. Could I be missing something obvious?.. Thanks E...

What command has the adjustable size circle on the curser? (Solved)
QCad Professional Windows 10 Home I stumbled on a command the other night when I was experimenting with the software. But now I can't remember what command it was but I'll try to explain it the best I can with a simple drawing . The command worked similar to [Trim] when extending a line to a limitin...

Re: Imperial (US) drawing sheet templates, ANSI A-E
You can use this application preference to hide block attributes when the block is hidden:
Edit > Application Preferences > Graphics View > Behaviour > Hide attributes when block references are hidden
That worked perfect ... thanks thanks

Re: Imperial (US) drawing sheet templates, ANSI A-E
I've filled in some of the attributes on the title block. That's a nice feature.
Question: When I toggle the visibility of the title block to [OFF} the attribute text remains visible on the layout. Can the attribute text be hidden?
thanks

Re: Title Block and frames not printing (solved)
Husky
Thanks for the fast reply. The line weight was very thin and the color was light grey. Made the line wider and changed the color to black.
Problem Solved
Rich
(note: I'll have another question about the title block attributes but will start a new topic)

Title Block and frames not printing (solved)
Windows 10 home QCad professional Trial Version I am trying to print my first test drawing. I'm in PaperSpace with an A size page with one viewport. Borders, title block etc. are also on the page. These were from the template that Husky provided. All of the geometry in the viewport print perfect. Bu...
