Centers based on size of entire drawing including invisible layers.
Should only center based on visible layers.

Most likely a timeout issue if the machine is very busy:
- Explorer launches QCAD when a file is double-clicked
- QCAD checks if another instance of QCAD is already running by trying to contact the other instance. This may time out if the operating system is very busy or QCAD has not been used for a while and needs to wake up first.

Line tangent to ellipse with start point on the minor axis of the ellipse produces wrong result.

- Remove unused option ‘show bounding box’ - Fix ‘show page borders’ (should be ‘show paper borders’)

In version 2.2.2.0 when unit mil is selected the grid choices are auto, 0.01, 0.1, 1, 10
In version 3 when mil is selected the grid units are 1/128, 1/64, 1/32 ...... etc. binary.
This needs correction. I use the grid a lot when I draw so this is a high priority for me.

Split entities: start angle must be entered in degrees * 1rad (converted from degrees to rad twice)

CAD font styles not saved (except standard)

Hatches using user added hatch patterns cannot be saved.

OpenDesign error message: “Bad name for Hatch pattern”

Make sure that block references of hidden blocks cannot be selected.

Steps to reproduce:
- Start QCAD
- Switch to another application by clicking on its title bar
- Switch back to QCAD by clicking on its title bar
- Without any further clicks, start panning using the middle mouse button (panning is performed but graphics view does not update)

Alternative:
- Start QCAD
- Draw a line
- Start line parallel tool
- Switch to another application by clicking on its title bar
- Switch back to QCAD by clicking on its title bar
- Without any further clicks, try placing the parallel (no preview is shown, a click will place the parallel, graphics view is often updated much later)

To reproduce:
- Create a part library item with file name “Test1 .dxf” (note the space at the end of the base name)
- Insert this part library item into a blank drawing
- Try to save the drawing
- Error “Invalid Symbol Table Name” occurs

Command line switch -always-load-scripts has no effect.

Modify divide moves split entities to new layer if circle or full ellipse is divided.

The spacing of the isometric grid is not updated correctly, if the grid spacing is not set to ‘auto’ but fixed values and the isometric grid is switched on using the menu or tool bars:
- Set grid to orthogonal grid, spacing fixed: 1/1
- Set meta grid to orthogonal grid, spacing fixed: 10/10
- Switch to isometric grid using menu or tool bar buttons

Splines produced by Illustrator are not correctly imported or displayed.

Intuos Mouse (moving around on the Intuos Tablet)

• does work for drawing and marking with the left button on the drawing area
• does work for zooming in and out with the middle-button wheel
• does work for calling up context menus with the right button on the menu bar and the layer list window
• does not work with the left button for actually clicking any menu item (Edit, View, ..) nor action icon on the top nor the left (e.g., draw lines, measure, zoom, undo, save, ..) nor the layer window (e.g., toggle visible, lock layer) nor the property editor.

- Draw ellipse
- Fill ellipse (solid or hatch)
- Rotate ellipse and filling
- Undo

→ Angle of ellipse shaped fill is not undone.

Other hatch boundary elements that break or cannot be undone:
- splines from fit points
- arcs (when only one point is moved, e.g. stretch)
- circles (when radius changes, e.g. scale, position changes)
- ellipses (when major point changes)

Info tools show too many ticks which leads to slow down / crash.

Imported splines which typically represent lines, circles or arcs (explicit knot vector given) are sometimes wrongly identified as invalid by the OpenNURBS library.
This results in splines that are loaded and displayed correctly but are not selectable.

dxflib 3.1 saves the text style name as style font in text styles.

Editing text in QCAD leads to line feeds that are incompatible with some other products (\p instead of \P).

Conversion of certain files leads to crashes (segmentation fault).

Polylines that are stored with vertices as separate entities in DXF are not read by QCAD.

Exploding a block with attributes results in wrong exploded text (tag instead of value).

Text with é turns into È.

SVG import fails if no resolution is specified for SVGImporter.

Texts in CAD fonts with characters for which no glyph is defined report a wrong bounding box which always includes the absolute zero point. This makes the spatial index ineffective for drawings containing many such texts (typically complex drawings from international users).

Help - Reference Manual does not have any effect on Windows.

Insert block with attributes: third attribute input not working

This affects only certain KDE installations:
- Fedora 12 with KDE
- Kubuntu 13.04

Once the print dialog is displayed, it will print even if I “cancel” or “x” the page.

If the keep proportions button is checked in the scale dialog, no scaling is performed.

Inserting a block with attributes into a drawing with a different unit results in wrongly scaled attribute entities.

Workaround:
Sync block attributes after insert.

Inserting part library items with attributes definitions can result in attributes being created with invalid layer IDs (from the source document but invalid in the target document).

If the segment of an ellipse is limited by another ellipse with the same ratio and rotation, the break out tool cannot find the correct intersection to break out to.
