I am continuing my testing on version 3.0 Final.

I noticed that, with 3.0 Final open, the service “syslogd” (on OSX Leopard PPC) does get CPU consumption up to 100%, making the machine unusable.

This has never happened with the RC2 version.

It’s possible to have a copy of RC2 while they investigated the problem? Unfortunately I have not kept a copy.

In the “Preferences Panel” → “Graphics View” the checkbox “Show Crosshairs” not work. If it’s checked or unchecked the result is the same.

In the attached drawing (top figure) I created an hatch “Solid Fill”. I have saved, reopen and the “Solid Fill” is not present!

No problem (bottom figure) with other types of hatch.

It’s possible to have a workaround? Is urgent for terminate work.

I decided to go from version 3.0 RC2 to version 3.0 Final.

I opened the program and I tried to customize the layout of the various toolbars and panels “Layer”, “Blocks”, etc..

On the next reboot all settings are lost and QCAD presents itself as image attached.

How can I fix?

With Mac OS X 10.5.8 PPC, in the Property Editor the entries are aligned at the bottom and not in the center. The strange is that in your screenshots on the site everything is correct (http://www.qcad.org/img/qcad3_mac.png). Add a picture for the problem.

In the 2.2.2 version was possible to suppress the display keycodes in menus. You can also restore it in version 3?

If in the file’s name I’ve “/” (for ex. 2012/02/10) QCAD substite with “:” (2012:02:10). Regard the file’s name in the tab of QCAD.

lacks compatibility with Leopard 10.5.8 PPC. I chose QCAD for this ...

In the Application Preferences (but also in the Drawings Preferences) → Dimension → Default Dimension Settings → Label Format → Linear (and Angular) Dimension → Show Trailing Zeros, the example is wrong if the option is checked.
