FS#2120 - SH - Restrictions for orientation are not working

Case:
launch LI,
launch for the first point SH, set to 5 distance,
snap to a point,
activate Auto snap, (which would work with SD for EH and EV but not for Alt)
try to restrict orientation for second point with ALT, EH, EV - it won’t work in this scenario ... :-(

Edit: Playing around ... could it be that RZ is not propperly set within those tools?

Snap tools (intentionally) don't move the relative zero point. I can confirm that this scenario is not covered. I'd call it a "limitation".

That's a shame! Imagine how much more possibilities do you have if the ZR would be moved. Like my mentioned case or even to move selected entities etc.

Move example:
Select what has to be moved,
launch MV, select reference point,
launch SH to move it with a distance to a snap,
give distance,
control with Restriction tools or Alt the orientation - done.
Much easier than working with auxiliary lines or coordinates.

Would it harm any other function if RZ is set by the snap tool?

It always depends on what the user plans to do.
I'll implement this for the next release. Let's see if someone complains and wants the old behaviour back :)

That sounds like a democratic solution - I love it! Thank you very much! :-)
