FS#2416 - Automatically set a proper alternating row color for the Layer List

Andrew,

When switching from Default to Dark mode the text on alternating rows is hardly visible.
We can customize this color.

It would be easier if a proper default color is set on switching to and back.

Perhaps the user preferences can be remembered.
Perhaps only when the contrast would be affected.
