I am new to Qcad and am battling with printing my drawings. for example, I copied a drawing to a new page and then added to it. when I try to print or save to PDF, only the part that I copied and pasted is visible. I'm sure this has something to do with layers but I can't find any solutions in the help file or online.
I am using Qcad Professional
I would appreciate some help

Re: Printing and saving to PDF
Hi,
1. Layer option (Layer list) layer plottable yes/no,
2. If those missing entities are black or white - Application Preferences option prevent
printing black on black, white on white, ,
3. Print preview color mode black, Grey, color,
4. Hairlines (0.0 weight) in drawing or as print previw option ...
without seeing the drawing I would double check ...

Re: Printing and saving to PDF
Thank you for the help, unfortunately, none of these options worked. this being said I figured it out, I made the first layer a parent of the defpoints
Re: Printing and saving to PDF
The layer 'defpoints' is a system layer and should not be used for drawing entities.
It should not be required to alter the layer structure concerning the layer 'defpoints'.
Your layer structure and/or layer attributes and/or block structure and/or Viewport content and/or Layout content is probably organized incorrectly for the required output. This can not be solved from attached images.
