Choseing cut path direction

Post by AdamA » Sun Feb 07, 2016 4:11 am

How do you get the cam to write the G code in a certain direction?

Something as simple as a circle, for the life of me i can not get it to =write the G code as a cw circle, what ever i try it always makes it a ccw tool path. What am i missing?

Using latest release on linux, with Both Gcode and my modified version of gcode configs

There is currently no easy way (i.e. through the user interface) to force the orientation of one single circle.

You can force the orientation of all closed contours (including circles) in the export dialog:

An advanced possibility would be to assign a custom property to that circle and interpret this property in your configuration to force the orientation of that circle accordingly. This definitely requires some programming in your configuration file though.
