Measurement tools suggestion

Post by Brass Monkey » Thu May 24, 2012 10:26 pm

Just a thought, but one that could be useful for machinists in particular - a measurement tool that can snap to a point as per usual, but then just displays the drawing coordinates in X and Y. This could be expanded to the dimensions tool set, so that you can click on a point and print the coordinates next to it. Anyone else think this would be useful?

That would be very useful indeed.

Although you can gather this info from the Property Editor > Geometry info (select an entity first)

Such a tool exists, but one must do X then Y coordinate. I have used it several times.
