More and more people are now using laser cutters at home and at work, and are also using Qcad for much of thier design work.
Most of the design can be achieved by Qcad but one very useful addon in Inkscape is not in Qcad. I know the addon in question is not normaly a part of a technical drawing but nevertheless would be appreciated-
The addin I am refering to is the LivingHinge addon which makes construction of hinges in wood or acrylics possible.
If it can be addapted to Qcad I am sure it would greatly be appreciated by the Qcad laser users, as is already the Tabs and slots addin for laser work.
Can this be considered please?

Re: for laser cutter users
Hi Brian
Yes QCAD is perfect for drafting 2D work for laser cutting. The tabs and slot extension was contributed by one of the QCAD community users. Your suggestion for a 'living hinge' tool would be fantastic, I agree. You can submit a request here on the forum and it hopefully will catch the attention of someone:
QCAD 3 ' Script Add-On & Plug-in challenge ' - Work in Progress

or request here where it would be considered for development by Andrew and the team:

For the best support please state your operating system, QCAD version and add any supporting DXF/DWG files, screenshots etc...
