- Create four arc segments representing a full circle
- Create polyline from segments

Empty polyline is created (caused by simplification).

In some cases, loose arc segments result in errors.

Selecting the polyline is not possible.
Possibly related to update of DrawPolyline tool.

Exception due to invalid include path.

Draw > Line > Parallel
- switch type to Line, XLine or Ray
- switch back to Auto
- Parallel is always line segment

Draw > Image broken due to UI file resource not being found.

- Draw boundary (e.g. rectangle)
- Create block from boundary
- Select block reference
- Draw > Hatch

Hatch boundaries containing arcs with large radii are rendered imprecisely.

Choose two arcs or two circles as tangential entities.

Drag and drop requires two clicks with auto snap if grid snap and free snap are disabled for auto snap.
- Edit > Application Preferences > Snap > Auto Snap: disable grid and free
- Drag an entity and try to position it
- First click does nothing, second click positions entity

1. create two new drawings
2. switch to tab 1
3. enable draft mode
4. switch to tab 2

⇒ draft mode button / menu still on (should be off)

Dots in line patterns are not displayed / printed at extreme coordinates.

Block with hatch scaled with factor in X different from factor in Y leads to problems if contour contains arcs (which cannot / are not scaled disproportionally).

Use comma to display dimension labels.

Linear factor of dimensions is reset to drawing default (DIMLFAC) if set to 1, even if drawing default is not 1 on saving.

Dimensions: Inch / Architectural: supporess 0 feet

Context menu of dimension text label line edit widgets offers a <> entry which does not insert <>.

Dimension: no feet displayed in architectural format

(e.g. 79 19/32 instead 72 7 19/32)

Dimension: moving label when label is beside dimension line not possible with drag and drop.

e.g. Dimension > Horizontal: tolerance inputs should have an icon next to them.

Application Preferences:
Edit > Application Preferences > Graphics View > Text Rendering: Render text as paths

Drawing Preferences:
Edit > Drawing Preferences > Dimensions > Dimension Settings > Label font: Standard (or other CAD font)
Edit > Drawing Preferences > Dimensions > Dimension Settings > Label color: By Layer (or fixed color)

If the drawing unit is set to ‘feet’ and the dimension format is ‘architectural’ or ‘engineering’, the drawing unit should be implicitly regarded as inch for the purpose of calculating dimension values. Since QCAD uses the drawing unit, the dimension values are off by a factor of 12 when importing drawings from other products.

Dimensions in viewports do not reflect the configured Edit > Application Preferences > Dimension > Dimension Settings > Size scale factor if value != 1.

Label position is only reset on reload / entity regeneration.

Define grid origin

Default paper might be configured as 210×297 inches if inch is chosen as default unit.

I couldn’t find where to specify the default “Line weight” for a newly created layer. Default proposed is 0,25 mm ISO and I would like to continue to uses 0,00 mm. Because, these lines are very thick when i look at my drawing in
