SVG import fails if no resolution is specified for SVGImporter.

Texts in CAD fonts with characters for which no glyph is defined report a wrong bounding box which always includes the absolute zero point. This makes the spatial index ineffective for drawings containing many such texts (typically complex drawings from international users).

Help - Reference Manual does not have any effect on Windows.

Insert block with attributes: third attribute input not working

This affects only certain KDE installations:
- Fedora 12 with KDE
- Kubuntu 13.04

Once the print dialog is displayed, it will print even if I “cancel” or “x” the page.

If the keep proportions button is checked in the scale dialog, no scaling is performed.

Inserting a block with attributes into a drawing with a different unit results in wrongly scaled attribute entities.

Workaround:
Sync block attributes after insert.

Inserting part library items with attributes definitions can result in attributes being created with invalid layer IDs (from the source document but invalid in the target document).

If the segment of an ellipse is limited by another ellipse with the same ratio and rotation, the break out tool cannot find the correct intersection to break out to.

Line pattern factor for zero weight lines defaults to 0 which can lead to division by zero.

Entering a coordinate (e.g. 20,20) results in direct distance entry instead (angle from relative zero to mouse pointer, length 20).

Arcs and circles are exported with too many segments if the drawing scale is below 1.0 (e.g. 1:100).

Screen based linetypes not working for splines, texts (CAD fonts) and dimension arrows.

Properties with title ‘Z’ are not displayed in the property editor. This is correct but should not apply to custom, user defined properties.

Splines affected are 2nd degree with >4 control points, 3rd degree with >5 control points when loaded with knot vector from DXF. Newly constructed splines with automatically generated knot vector work fine.

Layer and block names with leading / trailing spaces lead to exception when saving file through Teigha.

Example: file name: “my.file.dxf” File - Save As suggests file name: “my.dxf”

1. Select line and arc
2. Set selection filter in property editor to ‘lines’
3. Selection filter combo no longer contains choice for ‘arcs’.

1. Draw Spline from fit points
2. Mirror spline
3. Save as DXF/DWG
4. Load into 3rd party application
5. spline shape changed

Reconstructing the mirrored spline from scratch maybe used as a workaround.

If the order of blocks in a DXF R12 file is:
- block 1
- block 2
And ‘block 1’ references ‘block 2’, the import fails since ‘block 2’ is not defined at the time ‘block 1’ is imported.

Draw > Polyline > Trim Segments crashes if QCAD is compiled using gcc 4.2.1 which is the case for the Mac OS X package.

- Copy two block references of block “circle” which contains one circle
- Paste into new, empty drawing
- Pasted block “circle” contains two circles

Tick spacing is based on fractions for metric units.

E.g. if a block reference has its color set to ‘red’ and the block reference has an attribute with color=’ByBlock’, the attribute should be displayed in red.

Command line tools may not have permissions to create bat_log. Windows error:

Access is denied.
The system cannot find the file specified.
Could Not Find C:\Program Files (x86)\<tool>\bat_log

• Select text entity
• Right-click on line edit of property ‘Plain Text’
• Insert symbol

- Create text with non-breaking space (\~)
- Edit text
- Text displayed with &nbsp;
- Click OK
- Text in drawing displayed with &nbsp;

Only affects files saved through dxflib.

Dimension font setting as default for new drawings has no effect.

Arrow size does not respect dimension size scale factor

1. Create XLine
2. Rotate XLine

• Create block with text entity in it
• Insert block reference
• Snap tools snap to endpoints, centers, etc. of text entity shapes

Unitless drawings use metrical patterns, should be imperial for compatibility.

Linear factor of dimensions is reset to drawing default (DIMLFAC) if set to 1, even if drawing default is not 1 on saving.

Selecting the polyline is not possible.
Possibly related to update of DrawPolyline tool.

If third party files are loaded with linetype names with leading or trailing spaces, they cannot be saved.

Error:
“Invalid Symbol Table name”

Exception in BreakOut.js

Aligned dimensions are not displayed correctly after loading. Definition point and text position are set to NaN.
