Please note that QCAD 2.2.2.0 is indeed the current stable version.
QCAD 3 has some known issues we are investigating.
You can download both versions from your personal download site.

If you are using QCAD 3 RC4, please switch off the script debugger:
'Edit' - 'Application Preferences' - 'Scripting' - untick 'Enable Debugger'
