Can you please elaborate?

The tool Modify > Lengthen / Shorten allows you to click multiple entities to lengthen / shorten them. The clicked entities are lengthened or shortened at the start or end, whichever is nearer to the mouse cursor when the entities are clicked.

Lengthening all selected entities would lack the information whether the entity should be lengthened or shortened at the start or the end. If entities are clicked one by one, we have that information based on the mouse cursor position. If entities are selected, that information is missing. Any thoughts? Or can you perhaps attach a use case? Thanks.
